Department for Education
OFSTED RATED: OUTSTANDING (MAY 2016)
“Children make outstanding levels of progress during their time at the preschool. They receive exceptional levels of teaching and nurturing from highly experienced and well qualified staff”
Achieving for Children is a social enterprise company created by Kingston and Richmond Councils to provide their children’s services. They offer services to provide targeted help and support to children and families in need at the earliest stage.
A resource has been created by SEND Family voices working with AfC and representatives from Health, Social Care, Schools, Early Years and Post 16 to create a complete set of guidance documents relating to “Support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)”. The resource is nicknamed the “Golden Binder”. The resource relating to Early Years can be downloaded here – https://www.afclocaloffer.org.uk/uploads/afclocaloffer/document/file/395/02_Golden_BINDER_Early_Years_Support.pdf
